These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of abhinayacinemas.com (the "Site"), operated by Abhinaya Cinemas, M C Road, Perunna, Changanacherry, Kottayam, Kerala 686101. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About the Site

The Site is a marketing and information channel for Abhinaya Cinemas, a single-screen cinema in Changanacherry, Kerala. It lets you view our current and upcoming programme, learn about our story, see open roles and contact us. Ticket purchases happen on our partner platform BookMyShow under their own terms.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Site if you are at least 18 years old, or if you are using it under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Site in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, the underlying systems, or related infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site, its security, or any other user's experience.
• Use any automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Site, except for well-behaved indexing by major search engines.
• Submit false, abusive, defamatory or harassing content via the contact form or job applications.
• Reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works of any content on the Site without our prior written permission.

4. Bookings

Showtime, pricing and availability information on the Site is indicative and pulled from our internal systems. Tickets are sold exclusively through BookMyShow. When you click "Book Now", you leave our Site and are bound by BookMyShow's terms and refund policy. Abhinaya Cinemas is not a party to that transaction; however, the venue and screening experience are operated by us and subject to our cinema policies (which are posted at the venue).

5. Cinema policies

Entry to any screening is subject to our cinema policies, which include compliance with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) age rating shown on the ticket, our seating instructions, and conduct standards for the auditorium. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove patrons whose conduct disrupts the experience of others.

6. User submissions

When you submit content to us through the contact form, the careers page, or by emailing us a job application, you confirm that the content is your own (or that you have the right to share it) and you grant us a limited, royalty-free licence to use it for the purpose of responding to or evaluating your submission.

7. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the "Abhinaya Cinemas" name, logo, the Malayalam letter mark, the projector-beam motif, the typography treatment, photography, copy and design system — is the property of Abhinaya Cinemas or its licensors and is protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws. You may not use these without our prior written permission, except for fair use such as press coverage that properly credits us.

Movie posters, trailers and titles shown on the Site remain the property of their respective rights holders and are used here in good faith to inform our audience about scheduled screenings.

8. Third-party links

The Site links to third-party platforms (BookMyShow, our social media accounts, our payments and email providers). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of any third-party site, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Disclaimer

The Site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep information accurate, we make no warranty that the Site or its content will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. Showtimes and programme details can change without notice — please verify on BookMyShow before travelling.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abhinaya Cinemas and its operators, employees and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Abhinaya Cinemas harmless from any claim, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Site or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kottayam, Kerala.
